Lyndon Megarrity is an author, historian and tertiary educator based in Townsville. He is the author of Northern Dreams: The Politics of Northern Development in Australia (2018). He has written extensively on historical themes, especially in relation to Northern Australia, Queensland politics, mining and international education. Megarrity is also the books editor for the Australian Policy and History (APH) website, and has contributed essays and reviews for APH which discuss the connection between history and contemporary public policy.
