Vanessa Finney is a curator and archivist with a special interest in museums and natural history in colonial Australia. Her first book, Transformations: Harriet and Helena Scott, colonial Sydney’s finest natural history artists, was published by NewSouth Publishing in 2018. At the Australian Museum she heads the country’s oldest and largest specialist natural history archives and rare books collection.
