Leigh Straw is a historian and author. Her books include three crime novels (The Call, Limestone and Sophia Lane), a history of criminal women in Perth and Fremantle (Drunks, Pests and Harlots, 2013) and a book on Australian First World War soldiers. She lectures in history at the University of Notre Dame Australia.
